CPC40110 – CERTIFICATE IV IN BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION (BUILDING)
The Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Building) is for people who have extensive experience in the construction industry. The qualification, along with other requirements of the QBCC, will enable you to apply for your Low Rise Builders Licence in Queensland.

QBCC – APPROVED MANAGERIAL COURSE – BSBSMB401
In Queensland, all construction contractors who operate on jobs in excess of $3,300 are required to hold a Trade Contractor or Nominees licence, obtained through the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
To obtain a licence you must hold a trade qualification, and successfully complete the QBCC approved Business Management Course – BSBSMB401 – Establish legal and risk management requirements of small business.
This is a standalone unit and covers the range of subjects required to carry out a successful small business.
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) provides subsidised funded training programs and initiatives for current workers in the industry. If you are currently working in the Queensland building and construction industry you may be eligible for CSQ funded training to advance or expand your skills under one of the CSQ programs. CSQ generally releases funding in October of each year. Certificate III qualifications are funded under the Skills Assessment Gap Training (SAGT) program and Certificate IV in Building & Construction is funded under the Higher Level Skills (HLS) program.

Queensland State Government funding
The Higher Level Skills program, funded by the Queensland State Government, provides eligible individuals with access to one subsidised training place in selected Certificate IV qualifications. Building Industry Training offers CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Building) under this program to eligible candidates.
The Certificate 3 Guarantee (C3G) program, funded by the Queensland State Government, provides eligible individuals with access to one subsidised training place in selected Certificate III qualifications. The Qualifications available under C3G are noted below.
